This song is about being in a relationship that is going perfectly fine, but constantly having a terrible feeling in the back of your head like something is going to go terribly wrong. I wrote it amidst the worst case of post-tv-show-depression I've ever experienced (thanks a lot for the recommendation Zach. I am not okay).
